Stay At Home (but go out virtually)

Hi All, I hope everyone is healthy and feeling as safe as it is possible to feel right now. We are all on edge, and uncertain of the future, but we are all in this together, even while we are apart. It’s fine to feel anxious or depressed, or sad or angry. These are all valid feelings, and if you need help or to talk, reach out to someone you trust, or a stranger on the internet. I promise you, most of us are feeling that way too and you are not alone.

After two+ months of this virus wreaking havoc in my home state, yesterday, Governor Jay Inslee enacted a “Stay at Home” order for Washington State. This order is virtually identical to a Shelter in Place order, and requires that all non-essential persons remain in their homes except for essential outings, such as exercise, dr. appointments, and grocery shopping (all maintaining safe social distance of course). This order comes after similar ones issued in states such as California, Nevada, New York, and Illinois (among others).

If you have already plowed through Tiger King (Sidenote: this is the #1 viewed show on Netflix in the US right now. Really? The new Castlevania just came out. I guess the two are not mutually exclusive. I will probably eventually fall prey to the tiger king myself, since I am originally from the Deep South and grew up around these kinds of people). ANYWAY, if you have consumed your watch list and are looking for other things to do, you can visit my first post to find links to multiple lists and virtual events, or continue below for additional resources.
